Traveling

The one who never dared to follow an impossible path, will never feel the difference of having done it.

English

Today I woke up with my stomach wrapped. The breakfast went awry and the body was rejecting my clothes. I looked to my backpack and felt an inside mess feeling: “the time is coming.” It’s an amazing dubious feeling to be stop without being. Being at home, outside. The comfort of home and friends, made me find again the energy needed for what is lacking in Europe. As much as you travel and increase your experience, the feeling of “let’s go” is always there for those who leave.

This is adventurous spirit that conquers in the chest, eliminate fears and gives us challenges. Traveling alone and sort things into their own hands, should be the first lesson of life for any human. The man who is limited to what he already knows, loses the courage to live and be free. The man that faces a doubt and chooses the safe zone, never follow a passion. The one who never dared to follow an impossible path, will never feel the difference of having done it. Only the man who has lost or fail, know the value of getting to the top of a mountain. Only those who live and share a great love know how much it hurts to be rejected. The one who works to make money, will never work to be happy. We always will remember those who did what they love with devotion. The man who doesn’t travel, will never see what they read in books or seen on television. Travel takes away our ignorant arrogance and gives the sensitivity passion of living happy.

Soon I will have less time to write to you, less time to share my experiences, but above all, I am living my life again.

Hoje acordei com o estômago atravessado. O pequeno-almoço entrou torto e o corpo estava a estranhar a roupa vestida.

In 2012 I started a World Sketching Tour and since then, this has been my lifestyle. More intense, more for others, more open on how to look and judge. The tour made me get out of routines and safe places, which often leave me numb just seeing life go by slowly. Sketching has aroused my curiosity for “what will it be like on the other side of the mountain?”.
