Africa was the last continent we traveled by bicycle. Due to Covid-19, we had to pause it.

Bolivia book in PDF is part of a collection of e-Books edited while traveling in South America. It is not a detailed book, but rather a compilation of sketches with a brief narrative about our journey and thoughts in Bolivia. It has 53 pages with 40 original sketches and 16 photos by Anisa and me.

It’s a journey of 1149 km in 122 days Ecuador on a bicycle full of stories and memorable experiences. True stories narrated and produced by us. There are many narrations about our encounters and how they changed our journey. And I have to admit that this second book of our journey in South America is more complex than The first in Colombia – A Travelers Book for Travelers.

This is the first ebook about our journey in South America by bicycles. It’s all in English and it’s a resume of our 5 months experience in Colombia. Through sketches, photos, and writing you will emerge with us into the deep culture, learn about food and costumes and understand how difficult, or not is to travel on a bicycle in the Andes Mountains.

Vamonos! We flew from Bogota to Santa Marta, a touristy town in the north of Colombia. We didn’t have any physical preparation before this adventure begins. It was still early when we left Santa Marta. Luis set the route on his GPS, and…
Comfort zone Finally, after a month we wait for the replacement of our GPS, it came! During this waiting time, we spent it by traveled the eastern part of Bolivia by public transportation. Obviously, after a month we had a place that we could call home, yet, we had to (again) get out of our comfort zone wasn’t painless. But, you know, traveling by bicycle is how we choose and…
See you, Sajama! Our fourth chapter in this altiplano country was cycling to salt flats, Bolivia. It took us 11 days with one day off in Julo due to my monthly special. This route only had three small sections of tarred road: outside of the National Park, Sabaya village, and from Cholcani to Uyuni town. The majority was sandy and rippled with corrugated surface across the altiplano – it’s perfectly…
An unreal plan in a surreal place – Sur Lipez, Bolivia In this last chapter of Bolivia, we started with lots of considerations. We read many blogs and photos of cycling Sur Lipez, Bolivia and all of them look awesome! They made us envy and want to experience it ourselves. Yet, the cyclists’ tourers who did this route mostly have bike-packing style. This reason made us doubt if it will…
